The ECMECC Google Educator AI Series (GES) offers practical, bite-sized professional development developed in conjunction with Google, ISTE, and ASCD, customized specifically for ECMECC member districts by Jeremy Mikla.

• Snackable & Stackable: Each module delivers targeted instruction in 15 minutes or less—focused on immediate classroom application rather than abstract theory.

• Universal Foundations (Modules 1–3): Core essentials for all K–12 staff, covering AI literacy, multimodal prompting with Gemini, and source-grounded research with Gemini Notebook.

• Divergent Grade-Level Pathways (Beginning at Module 4): Tailored tracks for Elementary (E#), Middle School (M#), and High School (H#) so you only spend time on examples and standards that match your specific learners.

🚀 The How

We know educator schedules are packed, so this hub is built for maximum flexibility and autonomy:

1. Choose Your Learning Mode:

   • Live & Synchronous: Join bi-monthly virtual sessions (two convenient live options offered per module) to collaborate and practice in real time.

   • On-Demand & Asynchronous: Watch the recorded 15-minute walkthroughs on your own schedule whenever time allows.

2. Practice & Apply: Use the provided prompt templates and Gemini tools right away with your upcoming lesson plans.

3. Certify & Earn CEUs:

   • After each module, complete the quick Google/ISTE quiz to claim your official digital badge.

   • Stack for Clock Hours: Every 3 completed modules = 1 Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Clock Hour. Submit your badges through our streamlined CEU Claim Form to receive an automated certificate.
